RESOLUTION NO. 15-93

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR TWO GRANTS THROUGH THE STATE HISTORICAL FUND.

   WHEREAS, application to the State Historical Fund requires approval by the legally authorized governing body of the applicant; and

   WHEREAS, applications have been prepared for two State Historical Fund grants: an Intensive Survey and Public Information Materials; and

   WHEREAS, the results of these projects will provide the foundation needed to integrate the maintenance and enhancement of Grand Junction's historic resources into comprehensive and neighborhood planning efforts.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That filing of applications to the Colorado Historical Society for two grants through the State Historical Fund is hereby authorized.

   Passed and adopted this 3rd day of March, 1993.
