RESOLUTION NO. 7-94

Authorizing the use of undergrounding funds for 12th Street.

WHEREAS, the City intends to upgrade Street Lighting on 12th Street from Belford Avenue to Gunnison Avenue; and

WHEREAS, the City Council believes the undergrounding of existing street light utility lines is necessary for the overall upgrade of the 12th Street corridor; and

WHEREAS, under the Public Service franchise, funds are allotted for such purposes.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the use of undergrounding funds to underground utilities along 12th Street between Belford Avenue and Gunnison Avenue is hereby approved for such amounts as the City Manager may designate.
