CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 Resolution No. 125-94

 AMENDING DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FEE SCHEDULE

Recitals.

The City of Grand Junction adopted Section 5-14, Historic Preservation, of the Zoning and Development Code in August 1994. Since then, Council has officially designated three buildings on the City Register of Historic Sites, Structures and Districts. Staff has analyzed the amount of time and costs involved in processing these designation requests and recommends the following fee be assessed for each application:

Approximately 2 hrs staff time  $35

     Legal Advertisement      $20

     Record Resolution      $ 5

     TOTAL FEE:      $60

This fee is consistent with the adopted fee for Revocable Permits ($50) which require similar staff time and legal costs. It is recommended that all fees be payable upon application. If, for some reason, the site, structure, or district is not dedicated, the recording fee shall be refunded.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION THAT THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION FEE SCHEDULE BE REVISED AS FOLLOWS:

   Historic Site/Structure/District Designation    $60.00

PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1994.
