CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 RESOLUTION NO. 129-94

 

 

Recitals.

 

 The City adopted Section 5-14, Historic Preservation, in the Zoning and Development Code in August, 1994. That ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2765, established a five member Historic Preservation Board to be appointed by the City Council.

 

 The City Council subsequently determined that it should retain the ability to vary the number of board members from time to time with a maximum of seven and a minimum of five members in order to maximize the expertise available to the board while being able to address, by resolution, circumstances where there are insuffi­cient volunteers for the board positions and therefore amended Ordinance No. 2765 in accordance with that determination.

 

 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION that the following appointments to the Historic Preservation Board are hereby made on December 21, 1994:
