RESOLUTION NO. 14-94

 

 A RESOLUTION REGARDING FEDERAL-AID OFF-SYSTEM FUNDING FOR SURFACE TRANSPORTATION FOR METROPOLITAN AREAS. LESS THAN 200,000 POPULATION, PROJECT STM M555-003 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TWELVE EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE-EMPT STATIONS IN GRAND JUNCTION.

 

RECITALS.

 

The City Council of the City of Grand Junction, hereby resolves to enter into a contract with the State of Colorado, Department of Transportation to participate in a Federally funded, State-Administered Twelve Emergency Vehicle Pre-empt stations and

 

The total cost of the preliminary engineering, equipment and construction for the installation of 12 locations throughout the City of Grand Junction is $74,888.00, to be funded as follows:

 

a.  Federal participating funds        $60,939.00

 

b.  Local Agency Shares

 

 (1)  Local Agency participating

   funds          $12,481.00

 

 (2)  Indirect costs incurred   1,468.00

 

   SUBTOTAL (LOCAL AGENCY SHARE)      $ 13,949.00  

   TOTAL PROJECT FUNDS          $ 74,888.00

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, AS FOLLOWS:

 

 (1)  The City Council approves the matching of said Federal funds with City funds in the amount of $12,481.00.

 

 (2)  The City Council appreciated the sum of $55,888.00 in the 1994 Budget of which $46,607.00 will be reimbursed back to the City.
