 RESOLUTION 31-94

 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1994 FEES AND CHARGES POLICY FOR PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Recitals.

 The 1994 Fees and Charges Policy for Parks and Recreation Department was adopted by the Grand Junction City Council by Resolu­tion No. 89-93 on December 1, 1993.

 The City Clerk's Office and the Parks Department have requested consideration of instituting a fee for the trading of grave spaces in the Municipal Cemeteries. This service has previously been provided free of charge.

 The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board reviewed the request at their April 20, 1994 Meeting and recommended approval of fee.

 The City Council, after due consideration, has determined that the fee is justified to defray the cost of providing the service.

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the 1994 Fees and Charges Policy for the Parks and Recreation Department, Section V. Cemetery, Subsection B. is hereby amended to include the following:

 7. Trading of grave space $40.00
