RESOLUTION NO. 47-94

 

AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF THE GRAND JUNCTION STREET AND UTILITY DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS

 

 

Recitals.

 

 The City Council of the City of Grand Junction adopted street and utility development standards in 1978 and amended those standards in 1992.

 

 The proposed revised standards update certain engineering details and standard drawings. The standards and details to be revised are:

 

 Exhibit C - Standard utilities locations and multi-purpose

  easement details

 Exhibit D - Cul de sac details

 Exhibit E - Standard concrete details

 Exhibit F - Standard storm drain details

 Exhibit G - Accessible ramp and parking stall details

 Exhibit H - Standard waterline details

 Exhibit I - Standard sanitary sewer details

 

 The Public Works and Engineering staff recommend adoption of the proposed revised standards. Adoption of the proposed standards will not adversely impact the standards common to the City and the County.

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

 

 That the City Council of the City of Grand Junction hereby accepts and adopts the revisions of the "Street and Utility Development Standards as proposed and attached hereto. The proposed standards shall be incorporated, together with all supporting engineering detail and design documentation, into the Street and Utility Design Standards for the City.
