RESOLUTION NO. 4-95

Authorizing the use of undergrounding funds for 28 1/4 Road from North Avenue to Orchard Avenue.

 WHEREAS, the City intends to convert the existing overhead power facilities on 28-1/4 Road to underground; and

WHEREAS, the City intends to upgrade Street Lighting on 28 1/4 Road; and

WHEREAS, the City Council believes the undergrounding of three (3) existing street light utility lines is necessary for the overall upgrade of the 28 1/4 Road corridor; and

WHEREAS, under the Public Service franchise, funds are allotted for such purposes.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the use of undergrounding funds to underground utilities along 28 1/4 Road between North Avenue and Orchard Avenue is hereby approved for such amounts as the City Manager may designate.
