RESOLUTION NO. 39-95
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 21-95 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PURCHASE OF 80 ACRES OF LAND BY THE CITY'S CIP FUND FROM THE GOLF COURSE FUND.
WHEREAS, City Council agrees with and accepts the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the recently surveyed focus groups of citizens and golfers that the City should assist golf course capital development;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
1. The payment for the 80 acres adjacent to the Tiara Rado Municipal golf course by the City's CIP Fund for $400,000 to the City's Golf Course Fund is hereby approved, effective January 1, 1995.
2. In recognition of the $272,000 contribution by the Golf Course Fund toward the purchase of the property, the 80 acres shall be held by the City for future golf course expansion.
