RESOLUTION NO. 66-95

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO (GOCO) FOR THE COLORADO RIVER TRAILS - WATSON ISLAND EXTENSION

Recitals.

 The City of Grand Junction applied for $63,900 and was awarded a Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant for $30,000 for trail construction at Watson Island.

 The $30,000 has not been approved by the City Council as part of the budget or appropriation process; Parks staff recommends the said budget be aggregated with the funds necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the grant agreement.

 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 The City Manager is authorized to execute the contract to complete the grant acceptance process and to receive the funds.
