RESOLUTION NO. 31-96

 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO (GOCO) FOR CANYON VIEW PARK CONSTRUCTION

Recitals.

 The City of Grand Junction applied for $250,000 per year over a three year period and was awarded a Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant for $75,000 for construction at Canyon View Park.

 Parks staff recommends the city accept the grant and comply with the terms and obligations of the grant agreement.

 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 The City Manager is authorized to execute the contract to complete the grant acceptance process and to receive the funds.

 PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 1996.
