RESOLUTION NO. 63-96

   A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND THE STATE BOARD OF THE GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO TRUST FUND.

RECITALS:

Whereas, the City of Grand Junction supports the completion of the Orchard Mesa Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge.

Whereas, the City of Grand Junction has received a grant from the Great Outdoors Colorado to fund the Orchard Mesa Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge, subject to the execution of a grant agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1:  The City Council of the City of Grand Junction hereby authorizes the City Manager to sign the grant agreement with the Great Outdoors Colorado.

Section 2:  The City Council of the City of Grand Junction hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds as necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the grant agreement and application.

Section 3:  This resolution to be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
