AMENDING THE BYLAWS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION

 RECITALS:

 The bylaws of the Grand Junction Planning Commission, as amended by Resolution No. 17-97, set forth the regular meeting date of the Commission as the first Tuesday of the month. To allow for additional time for applicants and staff to resolve development issues prior to the hearing, the Planning Commission approved moving the regular meeting to the second Tuesday of the month.

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 That the bylaws of the Grand Junction Planning Commission are amended as follows:

CONDUCT OF MEETINGS

1. The number of meetings per month and a schedule of meeting dates shall be established and may be altered or changed at any regularly scheduled meeting. One regular meeting date is established each month on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the City-County Auditorium, located at 520 Rood Avenue. If warranted, a second meeting will be scheduled.
