UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION
UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION FOR THE RITE AID PHARMACY AND CONVENIENCE STORE TO BE LOCATED AT 1ST STREET AND GRAND AVENUE.
RECITALS:
This resolution vacates the utility easement within the alley, located at 1st Street and Grand Avenue. The utility easement is being relocated 35 feet to the north. The utility easement vacation is to accommodate construction of a new building at this site.
The Planning Commission, having heard and considered the request and found the criteria of the Code to have been met, recommend that the vacation be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION THAT:
1. The following described easement is hereby vacated:
A parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, being part of Block 77, of the CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, Mesa County Colorado, being more particularly described as:
The 20 foot easement located within the alley at Block 77, of the CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, Mesa County, Colorado, lying between Lots 1 through 4, and Lots 21 through 24.
The above-described alley contains 0.046 Acres, as described.
