RESOLUTION NO. 119-99

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT OF STATE FUNDS

FOR THE PROJECT IDENTIFIED AS THE HORIZON DRIVE TRAIL,

7^TH STREET TO 12^TH STREET

RECITALS:

The City of Grand Junction, hereby resolves to enter into a contract with the State of Colorado, Department of Transportation (State) for the construction of the Horizon Drive Trail from 7^th Street to 12^th Street.

The total construction cost of the Horizon Drive Trail is to be funded as follows:

The total funding in the amount of $100,000 consists of $80,000 Colorado Department of Transportation funds and $20,000 City funds.

The City Council approves the matching of Colorado Department of Transportation funds with City funds in the amount of $80,000.
