RESOLUTION No. 84-99
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT OF STATE FUNDS FOR THE
PROJECT IDENTIFIED AS THE 5TH STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
SOUTH AVENUE TO MAIN STREET
RECITALS:
The City Council of the City of Grand Junction, hereby resolves to enter into a contract with the State of Colorado, Department of Transportation (State) for the reconstruction and improvements of 5th Street (Highway 50) from South Avenue to Ute Avenue.
The total construction cost of the 5th Street/Highway 50 improvements is to be funded as follows:
The total funding in the amount of $805,530 consists of $50,000 Colorado Department of Transportation funds and $755,530 local and other funds.
The City Council approves the matching of Colorado Department of Transportation funds with City funds in the amount of $755,530.
