RESOLUTION No. 84-99

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT OF STATE FUNDS FOR THE

PROJECT IDENTIFIED AS THE 5^TH STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,

SOUTH AVENUE TO MAIN STREET

RECITALS:

The City Council of the City of Grand Junction, hereby resolves to enter into a contract with the State of Colorado, Department of Transportation (State) for the reconstruction and improvements of 5^th Street (Highway 50) from South Avenue to Ute Avenue.

The total construction cost of the 5^th Street/Highway 50 improvements is to be funded as follows:

The total funding in the amount of $805,530 consists of $50,000 Colorado Department of Transportation funds and $755,530 local and other funds.

The City Council approves the matching of Colorado Department of Transportation funds with City funds in the amount of $755,530.
