RESOLUTION NO. 10-00

A Resolution Authorizing and Ratifying an Agreement between the City of Grand Junction and the State Board of the Great Outdoor Colorado Trust Fund

WHEREAS, the City of Grand Junction will be designing and completing Westlake Park; and

WHEREAS, the City of Grand Junction has received a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado to fund the Westlake Park project; and

WHEREAS, the City of Grand Junction is ready, willing and able to proceed with the project, as evidenced by the action taken by the City Council on December 15, 1999, authorizing a contract.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION THAT:

SECTION 1: The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to sign the grant agreement with Great Outdoors Colorado and ratifies his signature thereon.

SECTION 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds as necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the grant agreement, the application and ratifies the action heretofore taken in support of this project.

SECTION 3: This resolution to be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
