RESOLUTION NO. 34-09

 

A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MASSAGE PARLOR LICENSE FEES

IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 

Recitals.

 

Ordinance No. 4324, which was adopted by City Council on the 4th day of February, 2009, regulates and provides for licensing of massage parlor establishments. Each applicant for a massage parlor establishment is required to pay nonrefundable application and license fees. In accordance with the City of Grand Junction’s Code of Ordinances, fees are set by resolution of the City Council.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

1.  The application and license fees shall be set to offset as allowed by Law the costs incurred by the City for reviewing and processing the applications, including the costs of publication, hearing, administration, inspection and enforcement of massage parlor establishments.

 

2.  The fees shall be as follows:

 

a.  The application fee for a new application or transfer of ownership is $1,000.00.

b.  The application renewal fee shall be $100.00, annually.

c.  The change is corporate structure application fee is $100.00 for each new additional individual.

d.  The license fee shall be $500.00, annually.

e.  Other fees determined by the overall costs.
