RESOLUTION NO. 52-11

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 24-11 APPOINTING AND ASSIGNING CITY COUNCILMEMBERS TO REPRESENT THE CITY

ON VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS

Recitals:

Through various boards, committees, commissions and organizations the citizens of the City have a longstanding tradition of service to the community. The City Council by and through its creation of many of those boards and its participation there on and there with is no exception. The City is regularly and genuinely benefitted by the service performed by its boards, committees, commissions and organizations.

In order to continue that service the City Council annually or at convenient intervals designates certain Council members to serve on various boards, committees and commissions.

The City Council discussed amending the 2011-2012 assignments for the Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority Board and the 5-2-1 Drainage Authority Board at its October 31, 2011 workshop and directed Staff to prepare a resolution for the November 14, 2011 City Council meeting.

All other assignments made by Resolution No. 24-11 adopted by the City Council on May 16, 2011 shall remain in effect.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION COLORADO THAT:

Until further action by the City Council, the amended appointments and assignments of the members of the City Council are as attached.
