RESOLUTION NO. 60-11
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING RICH ENGLEHART AS ACTING CITY MANAGER
RECITALS:
Pursuant to ยง56 of the Grand Junction City Charter, the City Council shall appoint a City Manager, who shall be the Chief Executive Officer to the City.
The City Council has determined that Rich Englehart shall be appointed in an acting capacity
to that office, having demonstrated that he possesses experience in city management as required by the Charter.
Mr. Englehart has served as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Grand Junction since September 2007. Prior to his service for Grand Junction, Mr. Englehart was the Executive Director of the Delta Housing Authority and prior to that service he was the City Manager of Delta, Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND
JUNCTION THAT:
Rich Englehart is appointed as Acting City Manager for the City of Grand Junction, effective immediately. The appointment shall be for a term of six months and subject to negotiation and adoption of mutually acceptable terms of employment.
