ORDINANCE NO. 261

 

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SALARIES

 

 BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:

 

 Section 1. The salaries of employees of the City filling the following named offices shall be as herein given, said salary to be payable at the close of each and every month.

 

City Attorney  $75.00

Janitor at the City Hall  35.00

 

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Chief of Police  $115.00

Assistant Chief of Police  95.00

Night Policeman  90.00

Special Night Policeman  40.00

 

FIRE DEPARTMENT

  Health Officer  $40.00

 

For any work performed by the City Engineer for the City, pay shall be not more than: $1.50 per hour for the first ten days; from ten days to a full month not more than $1.25 per hour (for field work)

 

 Section 2. Ordinance No. 197 passed Feb. 10th, 1912, is hereby repealed.

 

Passed and adopted this 11th day of December, A. D. 1917.

I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance Concerning Salaries," was introduced, read and ordered published at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, held on the 27th day of November, A. D. 1917, and that the same was published in full in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before its final passage.
