ORDINANCE NO. 269

 

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING JUNK YARDS

 

Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:

 

Section 1. No junk dealer as defined by the ordinances of the City of Grand Junction shall keep or maintain upon any premises within fire limits of said City a yard or place for the storage of junk.

 

Sec. 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, on conviction, be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and each day the violation continues after notice by the City authorities shall constitute a separate offense.

 

Passed and adopted this 11th day of June, A. D. 1918.

I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance concerning Junk Yards," was introduced, read and ordered published at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, held on the 28th day of May, A. D. 1918, and that the same was published in full in the Daily News, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before its final passage.
