ORDINANCE NO. 270
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE ACCUMULATION OF WEEDS, BRUSH, TIN CANS AND RUBBISH ON LOTS OR TRACTS IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, AND ALSO FORBIDDING BARBED WIRE FENCES IN CERTAIN PLACES.
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:
Section. 1. It shall be unlawful for the owner, agent, occupant or lessee of any lot or tract of ground in the City of Grand Junction to allow or permit the accumulation thereon of dead weeds, brush, tin cans or rubbish of any kind.
Sec. 2. No person shall construct, keep or maintain a barb wire fence along or near a city street that has a public sidewalk along or near the property line.
Sec. 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall on conviction be fined in a sum not less than two ($2.00) dollars nor more than one hundred ($100.00) dollars for each and every offense.

I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance Prohibiting the Accumulation of Weeds, Brush, Tin Cans and Rubbish on Lots or Tracts in the City of Grand Junction, and also Forbidding Barb Wire Fences in Certain Places," was introduced, read and ordered published at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, held on the 28th day of May, A. D. 1918, and that the same was published in full in the Daily News a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before its final passage.
