AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SALARIES.

Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:

Section 1. The salaries of the employees of the City of Grand Junction filling the following named offices shall on and after September 1, 1919, be as herein given, said salaries to be payable at the close of each and every month:

City Attorney  $75.00

City Health Officer  40.00

Janitor City Hall  35.00

POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Chief of Police  $125.00

Policemen:

 First six months' service  95.00

 For over six months' service  100.00

 Special night merchans' Police  40.00

FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Fire Chief and ex-Officio City Weigher  $125.00

Assistant Fire Chief  110.00

Firemen:

 First six months' service  90.00

 Second six months' service  95.00

 For over one year's service  100.00

WATER DEPARTMENT.

Keeper at Intake  $80.00

Foreman of Construction and Repair  120.00

I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance Concerning Salaries," was introduced, read and ordered published at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, held on the 1st day of July, A. D. 1919, and that the same was published in full in The Daily News, a daily newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before its passage.
