ORDINANCE NO. 324
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE SALARY OF THE JUDGE OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT
WHEREAS the City Auditor and Ex-Officio City Clerk has heretofore acted as Judge of the Municipal Court, and
WHEREAS the duties of said City Auditor and Ex-Officio City Clerk have become so numerous that his full time is required in performing the duties of said City Auditor and Ex-Officio City Clerk, and
WHEREAS it has become necessary to appoint a Judge of the Municipal Court, and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance, no compensation has been paid the Judge of the Municipal Court and it has become necessary to pay a compensation to secure a Judge of the Municipal Court.
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
Section 1. That the Judge of the Municipal Court shall receive a monthly salary of $25.00 each month, beginning October 11, 1922, payable at the close of each and every month, in full for his services as Judge of the Municipal Court.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance entitled "An ordinance concerning the salary of the Judge of the Municipal Court" was introduced and read at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, held on the 23rd day of October A. D. 1922, and ordered publish in the Daily Sentinel a daily newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before its passage.
