ORDINANCE NO. 367.

 

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE PARK DEPARTMENT.

 

 WHEREAS, since the adoption of the annual appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1924, an unforeseen contingency has arisen because of necessary needed improvements to the buildings and grounds at Lincoln Park and

 

 WHEREAS, the funds for an additional appropriation are already in the hands of the City Treasurer, but cannot be spent unless authorized by a special appropriation ordinance.

 

 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1: That there be and hereby is appropriated for the purpose of maintaining the public parks for the remainder of the fiscal year ending December 13, 1924 the sum of ($7,000.00) Seven Thousand Dollars.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, held on the 6th day of November, 1924, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a daily newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before it's final passage.
