 The Annual Appropriation Ordinance of the City of Grand Junction Colorado, providing for the expenses and liabilities of the City of Grand Junction for the fiscal year beginning January 1st A.D. 1926 and ending December 31st, A.D. 1926.

 BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:

 Section 1.

First: -For interest and principal on General City Bonds . . . . $20,120.00

Second: -For Community Service . . . . 2,490.05

Third: -For the Contingent Fund . . . . 8,437.81

Fourth: -For Maintaining the Fire Department . . . . 13,726.00

Fifth: -For Maintaining and improving Health Conditions of City . . . . 10,472.50

Sixth: -For Maintaining and Improving Streets and Alley's . . . . 22,931.25

Seventh: -For Maintenance Free Public Library . . . . 4,000.00

Eighth: -For Lighting Streets and Alleys and Parks . . . . 14,579.00

Ninth: -For the Maintenance and Operation of Moyer Pool . . . . 4,087.60

Tenth: -For Salaries of Officers, Office Supplies, Printing, Fuel, Lights & Telephone . . . . 15,161.50

 Section 2. That for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses and liabilities of the said City of Grand Junction, Colorado for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 1926 and ending December 31st, 1926, there shall be and hereby is levied and assessed upon all the taxable property situated within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction, both real and personal, for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses and liabilities of the said City of Grand Junction and for the payment of interest on outstanding bonds and warrants and for the payment of a portion of the bonded indebtedness of said city, a tax of fourteen mills on each dollar of said property so assessed.

I DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance entitled "The Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, providing for the Expenses and Liabilities of the City of Grand Junction for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, A.D. 1926 and ending December 31st A.D. 1926" was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado at a regular meeting of the City Council held November 18, 1925 and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a daily newspaper published and in general circulation in said city, at least ten days before it's final passage.
