ORDINANCE NO. 395
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2 AND 6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 89 PASSED AND ADOPTED FEBRUARY 1, 1900.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:
Section 1. That Sections 2 and 6 of Ordinance No. 89, entitled, "Public Library," passed and adopted February 1, 1900, be and the same are hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2. It shall be the duty of the City Council to appropriate annually from the general funds of the city, sufficient funds as shall be in the opinion of the City Council necessary and adequate for the maintenance of the City's Public Library, said appropriation when made by the City Council shall be placed to the credit of "The Library Fund" which is hereby created.
Section 6. All moneys appropriated by the City Council or received for the use of the Public Library shall be deposited to the "Library Fund" and shall be kept separate and apart from all other moneys of the city; and the same may be drawn upon by the proper officers of the city, upon properly authenticated vouchers of said board of directors.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
