ORDINANCE NO. 430

 

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LARCENY AND THE BUYING OR RECEIVING GOODS OR OTHER THINGS OBTAINED BY LARCENY, BURGLARY OR ROBBERY, AND PROVIDING A PUNISHMENT THEREFOR.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

Section 1. That larceny or the buying or receiving goods or other things obtained by larceny, burglary or robbery, knowing the same to have been so obtained, in all cases where the money or the value of the thing stolen, bought or received does not exceed Twenty ($20.00) Dollars, is hereby prohibited.

 

Section 2. Every person who shall be found guilty of larceny or of buying or receiving goods or other things obtained by larceny, burglary, or robbery, knowing the same to have been so obtained, in all cases where the money or the value of the thing stolen, bought or received does not exceed Twenty ($20.00) Dollars, shall be punished by fine not exceeding Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars.
