ORDINANCE NO. 476
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF A LICENSE FOR THE OPERATING OR MAINTAINING OF MINIATURE GOLF LINKS IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, OPERATED OR MAINTAINED FOR PROFIT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
SECTION 1. That on or after December 31st, 1930 in the City of Grand Junction, no person or persons, firm or corporation, shall conduct, operate or maintain miniature golf links for profit or gain within the City of Grand Junction, without first having obtained a permit therefor and having paid the license hereinafter provided to be paid by this ordinance.
SECTION 2. That any person or persons, firm or corporation, desiring to operate, conduct or maintain miniature golf links in the City of Grand Junction for profit or gain, shall make application to the City Clerk of the City of Grand Junction, which application shall state the name of the person or persons, firm or corporation, desiring to conduct, maintain or operate the same, and a description of the property upon which such miniature golf course is to be maintained, which application shall be considered and acted upon by the City Council at its next regular or special meeting, and if such application is approved, a permit shall be granted to the applicant upon the payment of a license fee of $50.00 per year, which license shall terminate upon the 31st day of December of each and every year.
SECTION 3. No miniature golf links or course shall be operated between the hours of 12:01 o'clock A. M. and 8:00 o'clock A. M.
SECTION 4. Any person or persons, firm or corporation, operating, conducting or maintaining a miniature golf course for profit in the City of Grand Junction, without first complying with this ordinance and paying the license fee herein provided, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not exceeding $100.00.
