ORDINANCE NO. 496

 

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SALE OR DISPENSING OF GASOLINE THROUGH PUMPS OR OTHER MECHANICAL DEVICES

AND PROVIDING FOR THE PRESENCE OF AN ATTENDANT

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION COLORADO.

 

SECTION 1. All pumps or any other mechanical measuring device used for the sale, retail or dispensing of gasoline in the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, shall be securely locked so that no fluid can be drawn therefrom except when the operation of said pump or other device is under the supervision and in charge of an attendant.

 

SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $100.00 for each offense.

 

SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

D. 1932, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
