ORDINANCE NO. 497

 

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SALARIES AND TO REPEAL ALL FORMER ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

SECTION 1. The following named officers and employees of the City of Grand Junction, shall receive the following monthly salaries, beginning January 1, 1933, payable at the close of each and every month, viz:

 

City Manager           $320.00

Fire Chief              142.50

Assistant Fire Chief          125.00

Probationary Fireman, 1st 6 mos.    100.00

Firemen - 7th mo. to end of year    102.50

Firemen, 2nd year          108.00

Firemen, after 2 years        117.00

Chief of Department of Health & Parks  150.00

City Treasurer            142.50

City Auditor & Ex-Officio City Clerk  142.50

City Attorney            125.00

Secretary to City Manager        105.00

City Veterinarian          142.50

City Physician             70.00

Chief of Police Dept.        157.50

Assistant Chief of Police        142.50

Patrolmen, first year        105.00

Patrolmen, second year        112.50

Patrolmen, after two years      125.00

Judge of Municipal Court         85.00

Caretaker, Lincoln Park         80.00

Caretaker, Intake           75.00

Caretaker, Cemeteries        105.00

Highway Foreman          125.00

Water Foreman            125.00

Librarian               90.00

 

 

SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
