ORDINANCE NO. 506

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32 OF ORDINANCE NO. 484

PASSED AND ADOPTED APRIL 1, 1931

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

 SECTION 1. That Section 32 of Ordinance No. 484 passed and adopted April 1, 1931, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

 

 SECTION 32. INSTALLATION OF DURHAM SYSTEM. The Durham System of Plumbing shall be installed only in buildings of fire-proof construction, wherever waste pipes or traps are imbedded in concrete, in buildings of three (3) stories or more, when exposed on finished walls or ceilings or fished through finished partitions and floors in old existing buildings and in auto camp cottages or cabins, of the proper sizes and in the manner required by the State Plumbing Inspector, Galvanized wrought iron or galvanized steel pipes shall not be used under the ground for soil, waste or vent pipes.

 

 Passed and adopted this 18th day of October, 1933.
