ORDINANCE NO. 524
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 2 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 432 DESIGNATED INDUSTRY "B" DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
SECTION 1. That the subdivision of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 432 designated Industry "B" District, be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Industry "B" District (Heavy and Obnoxious Industry)
1. A use permitted in a Residence District, a Business District, and an Industry "A" District.
2. Public auction yards.
3. Abattoir, meat packing, distillation of bones, stockyards, glue, size or gelatine manufacture.
4. Chlorine or hydrochloric, nitric, picric or sulphuric acid manufacture, smelting of copper, tin, zinc, lead, or iron ores.
5. Any industrial process emitting dust, odor, gas fumes, noise or vibration comparable in character or in aggregate amount to that of any use specified under Nos. 3 and 4 of this subdivision."
Passed and adopted this 21st day of November, 1934.
