ORDINANCE NO. 535

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP

ACCOMPANYING ORDINANCE NO. 432

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

SECTION 1. That the Zoning Map accompanying Ordinance No. 432 and made a part thereof by the provisions of Section 1 of said Ordinance, be and is hereby amended as follows: That part of the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 23, T.1 S. R. 1 W., Ute Meridian, described as beginning at the Northeast corner of the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 23, thence South along the quarter section line thereof 1313.35 feet, thence West along the quarter section line thereof 293.62 feet, thence North 1312.625 feet, thence North 1312.625 feet, thence East 930 feet to point of beginning, the same having been formerly platted and known as Nishwitz Subdivision of Grand Junction, shall be and is hereby changed to Industry "A" District.

SECTION 2. The City Council is of the opinion and finds, determines and declares that this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and that a special emergency exists therefor, and that this Ordinance shall therefor be effective and in force from and after its passage.
