ORDINANCE NO. 536
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION FOR
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year ending December 31st, 1935, it has been necessary for the City to expend a considerable amount of money for various departments, which was not contemplated in making up the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
SECTION 1. That the following sums of money or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses of the various departments, for the balance of the fiscal year, ending December 31st, 1935.

SECTION 2. That in the opinion of the City Council, a special emergency exists for the preservation of the public health and safety, and this ordinance shall therefore go into effect upon its passage.
