ORDINANCE NO. 569
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE VACATION OF STREETS AND ALLEYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
SECTION 1. That no person or persons shall have any authority or power to vacate any street or alley within said City without having first obtained permission therefor from the City Council of said City by resolution of said Council, and the City Council of said City shall have the right to grant or refuse such permission, in the exercise of its reasonable discretion, as it may determine to be to the best interests of the public convenience and necessity.
SECTION 2. That any and all provisions of the laws of the State of Colorado, by statutes now in effect, or hereafter enacted, which are in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed and superseded by the provisions of this Ordinance to the extent that such laws are or may be in conflict herewith.
