ORDINANCE NO. 576
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO HARR ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.
WHEREAS, Edward L. Harr and Bertha Harr, as owners of the following described land, to-wit:
All that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, U.M., lying south of the right of way of the Canal of the Grand Valley Irrigation Company, and East of a line running north from the point on the south line of said Section 11, said point being located 2,482 feet east of the Southwest corner of said Section 11, and approximately 135 feet west of the southeast corner of the southwest quarter of said Section in Mesa County, Colorado,
have requested that said territory be admitted to the City of Grand Junction, by ordinance as provided by Section 302, Chapter 163, Colorado Statutes Annotated, and have laid out said territory in Lots, Blocks, Streets and Alleys to the extent that the size and location of said tract will permit according to the plat of Harr Addition to the City of Grand Junction, recorded in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Mesa County, Colorado:
WHEREAS said tract is adjacent to the City of Grand Junction, but is not embraced within the limits of the same nor of any other municipal corporation; and
WHEREAS a special session of the Council was held on April 7, 1937, for the purpose of considering objections to such annexation as advertised in the manner required by law; and no objections having been made at such special session:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That the above described territory be and is hereby annexed to said City as Harr Addition to the City of Grand Junction.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 576 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at the regular meeting of said body held on the 21st day of April, A. D. 1937, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
