RESOLUTION NO. 44-15

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF SIDEWALK

RIGHT-OF-WAY TO C AND E PRODUCTIONS DBA MESA THEATER

LOCATED AT 538 MAIN STREET

Recitals:

The City has negotiated an agreement for C and E Productions dba Mesa Theater, to lease a portion of the sidewalk right-of-way located in front of 538 Main Street from the City for use as outdoor dining; and

The City Council deems it necessary and appropriate that the City lease said property to C and E Productions dba Mesa Theater.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign the Lease Agreement leasing the City-owned sidewalk right-of-way for an initial term commencing October 15, 2015, and terminating in 2016 on the date concurrent with the expiration of Lessee’s Tavern Liquor License, for the rental sum of $350.00, to C and E Productions.
