ORDINANCE NO. 609
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 167
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 167 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2. All sidewalks, along streets and avenues and portions of streets and avenues within the City of Grand Junction, not specifically provided for in section one herein, shall be five feet in width and shall be laid with the inner edge of the walk two feet from the property line as established by the official plat of the City of Grand Junction; provided, however, that in those districts or locations where curbs have been or are being constructed, sidewalks may be constructed with the outer edge of the walk in line with and against the back line of said curb when and if authorized so to do by a resolution of the City Council and adopted by a majority vote of the members thereof.
