ORDINANCE NO. 635
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 427
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 427, passed and adopted January 18, 1928, be amended as follows:
SECTION 1. That no person, firm or corporation shall hereafter sell, offer or expose for sale in the City of Grand Junction, bread in the form of loaves, except in the following weights, which shall be net weights, twelve hours after baking; One pound, one and one-fourth pounds, one and one-half pounds, two pounds, three pounds, four pounds or other pound weights. Variations at the rate of one ounce per pound or over, and one ounce per pound under above specified weights are permitted in individual loaves but the average weight of not less than twenty-five loaves of any one unit of any one kind shall not be less than the weight prescribed by these regulations for such unit. Provided, however, that this ordinance shall not apply to ordinary biscuits or rolls.
