ORDINANCE NO. 639

ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE SALARY OF THE

CHIEF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 Section 1. That the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, shall receive the following monthly salary beginning January 1st, 1941, payable at the close of each and every month, viz:

 Chief of the Fire Dept. . . . . $200.00

 Section 2. That all ordinances and parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.

 Passed and adopted this 8th day of January, A. D. 1941.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 639, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of December, A. D. 1940, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
