ORDINANCE NO. 649

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29, (a),

OF ORDINANCE NO. 529, AS AMENDED

 

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That Section 29, (a), of Ordinance No. 529, passed and adopted January 29, 1925, as amended by Ordinances Nos. 542, 545, 549, 563, and 624, be and the same is hereby further amended so that as amended the same shall read as follows:

 

 Section 29. (a).

 

 TIME LIMITATION OF PARKING. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park such vehicle for a period of time longer than two hours at any time between the hours of nine o'clock A.M., and six o'clock P.M., of any day, except Sundays and legal holidays, on any of the following streets within the City: On Main Street between Second and Seventh Streets, on Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Streets between Colorado and Rood Avenues, on Seventh Street between Main Street and Rood Avenue and on Third Street between Colorado Avenue and Main Street.

 

 Passed and adopted this 17th day of September, A. D. 1941.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY That the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 649, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd day of September, A. D. 1941, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city at least ten days before its final passage.
