ORDINANCE NO. 680
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SALARIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That the following named officers and employees of the City of Grand Junction shall receive monthly salaries not to exceed the amount shown hereunder in Column No. 1, as their base pay, except that the said officers and employees may receive temporary increases as hereinafter provided:

Section 2. That the temporary increases in salaries heretofore authorized by Ordinances No. 655, 662, and 672, shall be and remain in full force and effect for the period commencing January 1, 1945, and ending December 31, 1945; provided, however, that the salaries paid during such period shall not exceed the amount shown in Column No. 2 of Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. That the City Council of said City may, by resolution or ordinance, extend the term of payment of any of the temporary increases provided by Ordinances No. 655, 662, and 672, as incorporated in Section 2 of this Ordinance, for periods of time not exceeding one year each, if in its discretion such extension or extensions are necessary and advisable.
Section 4. That Ordinances No. 605 and all other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
