ORDINANCE NO. 697

 

 WHEREAS, Since the 1946 budget was passed and adopted, and the appropriation ordinance for the year was adopted, it has been deemed advisable to include small improvement works such as sewer districts, small paving districts, etc., in the Force Account Fund and to pay for such improvements out of this fund, and

 

 WHEREAS, the necessity for this additional expense has been caused by an unforeseen contingency arising after the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance:

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of unappropriated funds in the General Fund to the Force Account, the sum of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars.

 

 Passed and adopted this 3rd day of April, A. D. 1946.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 697, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of March, A. D. 1946, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city at least ten days before its final passage.
