ORDINANCE NO. 715
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL APPROPRIATION TO THE WATER DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Since the 1946 budget was passed and adopted, money has been expended from the Water Fund budget for materials purchased for major improvements to the Water System, which were not contemplated at the time of the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of Water Improvement Funds of the City of Grand Junction to the Water Department, the sum of Forty Thousand and 00/100 ($40,000.00) Dollars.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of October, A. D. 1946.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 715, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 2nd day of October, A. D. 1946, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city at least ten days before its final passage.
