ORDINANCE NO. 724

 

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 484, AS AMENDED, CONCERNING PLUMBING.

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 484, as amended, shall be and it is hereby amended, so that as amended, it shall read as follows:

 

 Section 16. FEES FOR PERMIT.

 

 (a) The applicant shall pay an inspection fee of one ($1.00) dollar for each fixture or opening left in the work, provided, however, that the minimum charge shall be at least one ($1.00) dollar.

 

 (b) No Permit will be issued to any plumber who is delinquent in any fee.

 

 Section 2. That Section 18 of Ordinance No. 484, as amended, shall be and it is hereby amended, so that as amended, it shall read as follows:

 

 Section 18. PERMIT FOR CONNECTION WITH PUBLIC SEWER. Where a connection is made from a public sewer within the city limits of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, to the curb or lot line, such connection being intended for future use, the Master Plumber shall secure from the Plumbing Inspector a permit for such connection and shall pay therefore a fee of Four ($4.00) Dollars for each such connection.

 

 Section 3. The City Council hereby finds that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and that it shall take effect upon passage.
