ORDINANCE NO. 725

 

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 638 CONCERNING COIN OPERATED DEVICES.

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 638 shall be and it is hereby amended, so that as amended, it shall read as follows:

 

 Section 3. LICENSE FEES. The annual license fee for each coin-operated mechanical skill device shall be Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) and for each mechanical coin-operated music machine shall be Fifteen Dollars ($15.00). Such license shall be issued pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 638 and shall not be transferable as to ownership.

 

 Section 2. The City Council hereby finds that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and that it shall take effect upon passage.

 

 Introduced, passed and adopted on this 27th day of December, 1946.
