 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SALARIES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 Section 1. That from and after January 1, 1947, the following named officers and employees of the City of Grand Junction shall receive monthly salaries in the following amounts:

 Superintendent of Parks and Cemeteries

 City Veterinarian . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 287.50

 Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

 Section 3. In the opinion of the City Council a special emergency exists and the passage of this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the peace, health and safety and this ordinance shall therefore take effect upon its passage.
