ORDINANCE NO. 770

 

 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL APPROPRIATION TO THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

 

 WHEREAS, the City Management deems it advisable to continue the repair of streets in the City, and

 

 WHEREAS the 1948 budget did not provide sufficient funds to pay the cost of said repairs:

 

 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the unappropriated funds in the General Fund to the Highway Department, the sum of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars.

 

 Passed and adopted this 21st day of July, A. D. 1948.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 770 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of July, A. D. 1948, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said city at least ten days before its final passage.
